21st century parenting rant
My daughter’s had her first CD-ROM homework today - making this actually more of a late 20th century parenting rant. Anyhoo, so the first thing I get to hear after what has been a comparatively long working day was “Can you please check her computer, she cannot do her homework.” Oh right.
So I go eliminating errors: first, the Windows-only educational piece apparently needs...

Kindle 3 web browsing via 3G in Spain
Note for the record: 3G web browsing works fine in Alicante with Kindle 3 UK edition. Absolutely not working with International/US version, though. I.e. the one I still have. :-(

Re-installing can do miracles sometimes - in the case if my Tumblr App, it fixed the audio posting for good. Lost whatever test recording I had before, though.
So audio posting finally works, and I use it to make a fool of myself. D’oh! ;-)

Pondering whether it’s worth the effort to go downstairs, power up my desktop computer and download iTunes 9. Probably not, I’m far too well off tumbling this in a prone position via iPhone… ;-)
Methinks I’ll want to check out the new iPod nano this weekend, tho. It’s a nice gift option, just a shame it’s not really available online yet (i.e. on Amazon). So...

No more double postings of Tumblr contents on Twitter - I hope.
Audio posting has just failed. :-/
Now the audio feature is fun (and a clear edge over Twitter), but existing iPhone recordings should be postable.
So this is it - having installed the Tumblr app for iPhone makes me more prone to posting. I guess. ;-)
